| New age pianist Fabian Isadar Thibodeaux performs selections from his CD and cassette Near the Edge of Light. The Church Point native spends his days as an employee at Dupre Library on the USL campus, but on nights and weekends he composes new age music on piano. Thibodeaux’s original compositions have the ability to induce dreamlike states of consciousness for the listener. Thibodeaux’s influences include Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush and Laurie Anderson. The concert takes place in Angelle Hall Auditorium on the USL campus, 8 p.m. The event is sponsored by the USL School of Music. Admission is free. Sunday, Dec. 9, 1990 ### |
